Here’s the thing that I find though when I deep dive into new clients’ existing marketing strategy…
Sometimes it’s not about doing more, it’s about fixing some of the things that you’re currently doing… because they’re underperforming and holding your marketing efforts back.
Here are the top 3 reasons that I find that people’s lists aren’t growing like they should:
- No Brand
Is your brand powerful and distinctive? Does it stand out from the crowd? Do you have a unique perspective that your followers can connect with? If I had to ask you what makes your coaching business unique, can you give me an immediate answer?
The information age is over ladies. What people are looking for now is a leader with a perspective that can help them make sense of all the information that’s out there.
People aren’t looking for more information, they’re looking for advice on what information they should focus on and how to use it!

A unique perspective is a cornerstone of a strong, successful business strategy and brand. If your business doesn’t have one, you have a problem.
- No Visibility
There is no way around this. No one if going to buy from you if you’re hiding because there’s no way they can start to know, like and trust you!
You must get in front of the camera so that your followers can start to get to know you! If they don’t know you exist, they can’t buy from you.
- No Consistency
Tell them, tell them and tell them again. You might think you’re being repetitive, but the average consumer needs to see a service or product 10-12 times before they buy.
If you post on social media once a week, your competitors will leave you in their dust! The more you post, the higher you push your chances of success.
So, before you start attempting any other form of marketing in your business, ask yourself if there’s any way you can improve your branding, visibility and consistency.
